These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services of Ritz ADU Design Build, a division of Budge-It Home Remodeling, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). We provide design and construction services for accessory dwelling units, garage conversions, granny flats, backyard offices, room additions and related residential construction in San Diego County, California. We hold California contractor license B-239311.

3. Consultation Requests & Lead Forms

When you submit a consultation request through our website, you authorise us to contact you using the phone number, email address and other details you provide, in order to respond to your enquiry, schedule a site visit, and prepare a design or estimate. Submitting a request does not create a construction contract. All work is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

4. SMS Communications

By providing your mobile phone number and submitting through our website forms, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Ritz ADU Design Build regarding appointments, estimates, project updates, reminders, and — where you have separately opted in — promotions.

Consent to receive Automated Reminders and Service Based messages is collected separately from consent to receive Marketing and Promotional messages, and neither is a condition of any purchase. All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photos, renderings, floor plans and marketing materials — is owned by Ritz ADU Design Build and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Our website and operations may integrate with third-party platforms (such as Google, Meta, and others). We are not responsible for outages, errors, limitations, or actions on those platforms. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Permit approval timelines, construction schedules and project costs depend on factors outside our control, including municipal review, inspections, site conditions, and material availability. Estimates and timelines provided before a signed agreement are good-faith projections, not guarantees.

The website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Workmanship warranties, where applicable, are set out in your signed construction agreement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or the Services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ritz ADU Design Build from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.
